Our client, a Karachi -based company, is looking to hire an experienced professionals for the positions. The role of General Manager -new Ventures is focusing on driving innovation and exploring new business opportunities to expand the company market presence. The candidates will be responsible for identifying avenues for investments, diversification, and growth through comprehensive research and networking efforts. This includes executing’s mergers and acquisitions building partnership models, and fostering long-term strategic objectives that align with the company vision. The individuals will serve as a key liaison between the company and various stakeholders, including industry partners, government entities, and potential customers, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution of new ventures. Managing risks and implementing effective mitigation will be a critical part of the role, along with fostering a culture of the excellence and innovation within the team. The selected candidates must posses strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to capitalize on market opportunities to drive transformative change. The roles also demands experience in managing large-scale projects and overseeing business development requiring a hands-on approach to ensure the scalability and success of new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across different areas to grow the company and expand services.
- Lunch new projects with cross- functional terms to ensue successful market entry.
- Assess and minimize risks related to new venture and ensure successful execution.
- Explore new investments and partnership aligned with long-term goals.
Education
- At least 16 years of education preferably a Master degree from an HEC-recognized institution or equivalent in Electrical, Mechatronics.
Experience
- 14-15 years of experience in a large organization, with at least 5 years in business development project management, or M.A at a senior level.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven success in lunching and managing new projects.
- Strong leadership and Strategic planning skills.
- Excellent financial analysis and decision- making abilities.
Age
- Preferably under 50 years old as of the application deadline.
