  • The Role: Lead all operational components of the Red Line BRT—vehicle fleets, depots, and service delivery.
  • Requirements: Master’s in Civil, Electrical Engineering or Transport Planning; 10+ years of experience (senior-level preferred); strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

2. ITS (Intelligent Transport System) Specialist

  • The Role: Design and coordinate smart transit solutions—fare collection, communication, passenger info systems, etc.
  • Requirements: Master’s in IT, Transport Planning, or Electrical Engineering; 5+ years in ITS/public transport; deep understanding of ITS frameworks.

3. Procurement & Contract Manager

  • The Role: Oversee all procurement functions, ensuring alignment with donor-funded project guidelines and national procurement rules.
  • Requirements: Postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, etc.; 7+ years experience, including 5 years on donor-funded projects; knowledge of PPRA & SAPRA.

4. NMT (Non-Motorized Transport) Infrastructure Officer

  • The Role: Plan and implement walkways, bike lanes, and pedestrian zones within the BRT corridor.
  • Requirements: Bachelor’s in Urban Planning or Transport Engineering; 5+ years in NMT design; experience with urban mobility tools and design standards.

5. Assistant Manager – Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)

  • The Role: Ensure safe working conditions throughout the Red Line’s construction phase and beyond.
  • Requirements: Bachelor’s in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering; OHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH); 5+ years in construction safety and risk management.
