Position Overview
- Position: Head of IT
- Location: Head Office/ Karachi, Pakistan
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled individual to lead the information Technology (IT) department. The successful candidates will play a key role in shaping the IT strategy of the bank, ensuring that all technology systems and infrastructure are aligned with the bank goals and objectives .The Head of IT will work closely with senior management team to implement cutting-edge IT solutions that enhance the bank operational efficiency and customer experience.
Qualification and Experience
To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following qualification and experience requirements:
- Qualification
- A bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline . A Master degree or certification in relevant IT areas will be considered an added advantage.

- Experience:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with minimum of 5 years in a leadership role (such as Head/Deputy) in IT management within the banking or financial sector.
Maximum Age
Application must not exceed 50 years of age. However, we are offer age relaxation for exceptionally competent candidates who posses outstanding expertise in IT management within financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Leadership:
- Lead and manage the IT departments, including developing strategies, policies and procedures to ensure smooth IT operations across of bank.

- Formulate and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the overall business objective of the bank.

- Technology Innovation:
- stay up to date with the latest technology trends and ensure that bank adopts innovate solutions to improve efficiency and customer experience.

- Compliance:
- Ensure all IT operations comply with local and international regulation, including those set by the State of Bank of Pakistan.

- Oversee large IT projects from conception to implementation, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
